Vibrant partnered with Edelman to create a second season of SSE Aitricity’s Powered by series for the League of Ireland. Across two short-form documentary pieces, released on BVOD and social platforms, we set out to celebrate the die-hards of the League of Ireland, the volunteers whose unseen work keeps their clubs alive. 

To ensure each story felt authentic, we carried out pre-interviews with every subject, uncovering the details that shaped both the treatment and the visual narrative. From there, we designed storylines that reflected the individuality of each volunteer while still aligning with the series’ overarching style - from carefully crafted motion graphics, to a personalised story, every detail represented the person and their story.

This season, we expanded the creative approach with a refreshed visual style, more dynamic interview set ups, and varied camera angles which gave each piece its own texture and rhythm. We also refined the narrative structure so that the episodes felt less repetitive and more character-driven.

Filmed with Sligo Rovers and Shelbourne Football Club, the series captures the commitment, resilience, and passion of three volunteers whose contributions make the League of Ireland more than football - a community. The result is a continuation that feels both authentic and renewed, combining process and craft to bring to life the people who power the league.
